Join Jess at The Moose Lodge in Del Rey Oaks for a paint party! This event is in support of Izzy, my former high school art student and a beautiful human that I have known since she was born. Following a serious car accident, Izzy will require months of rehabilitation and help from her mom, Dawn. Many of you know Izzy and/or Dawn and know that they deserve as much relief as possible while Izzy focuses on healing. See below for full details.
Location: The Moose 555 Canyon Del Rey Blvd, Del Rey Oaks
Please note: Refunds available up to 48 hours prior to event. After 48 hours, refunds or credits not available.
Tickets: $55/person. Ticket includes instruction and all supplies needed to create your masterpiece + light snacks. Beverages available for separate purchase. 50% of paint party proceeds will be going straight to Izzy. Read below for fundraiser details.
About Izzy and Dawn:
“Hello Friends!
Our dear friend Dawn experienced a terrible event on May 2nd, when her daughter Izzy was on her way home from college for the weekend, with 3 friends, and was involved in a terrible car accident.
Dawn immediately rushed to be with Izzy, and was by her side at the Davis Trauma center from May 2nd. 6 days later, May 7th, Izzy was released to go home to continue healing, once her pain was manageable.
Izzy suffered 7 fractured vertebrae, a bruised lung, bruised legs, bruised hip, some soft tissue injury to her shoulders,
head laceration, concussion and whip lash. She has a very long road of recovery and therapy ahead, and Dawn will be helping with a lot of that.
We, as her friends, are here to support in whatever capacity we can. We started with MealTrain, and now we are moving on to raising some money to help support the family with medical bills, and lost wages.
Dawn, as we all know, is a hard worker, usually juggling 2-4 jobs at a time. She is going to continue to work as she can, while also taking on the role of Izzy’s care provider while she recuperates at home. This can take 3-6 months.
Any amount helps, nothing is too small. It’s important that Dawn and her family do not need to worry about money at this time, while they all work together to help Izzy heal.
Truly appreciate all the love that has poured in so far, and thankful to all who will be able to support Dawn, Izzy, Noah and Tristann.”
